Youth Climbing Symposium
November 18 - November 19
Coming to Oakwood Climbing Centre on 18th & 19th November! A day dedicated to the next generation. With climbing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics this event aims to show today’s young climbers what is possible and how to achieve it. With presentations from leading coaches and climbers from around the world, the day will raise the bar in terms of climbing and coaching in the UK.
Whether it is competition tactics, training for climbing, conditioning, motivation and mind control or nutrition, this event has it covered.
Helping develop our future Olympians and rock climbers.
Are you a coach in the UK? Do you want to attend the event and learn from the best?
Due to popular demand, we have managed to create one group for 20 coaches.
We have been contacted by walls and independent coaches wanting to attend, so be quick if you do not want to miss out.
The Youth Climbing Symposium is an events company set up with the aim of developing the next generation of climbers. With a first stop in the UK, the Youth Climbing Symposium will tour around the world running workshops featuring some of the biggest names like Udo Neumann and Patxi Usobiaga.
The man behind the moves, the movement coach to German Team and behind many of the superstars on the IFSC World Cup circuit. Udo’s brought a style and technique to movement coaching that everyone is trying to replicate. Expect this workshop to be hugely fun and like nothing you have ever done before!
